The Dedham-Westwood Water District has demonstrated compliance with state and federal lead in drinking water standards.
This is done when at least 90% of samples collected as MADEP approved select sample sites(30 homes) have a lead level below the so called Action Level of 0.015 milligrams per liter of lead. At the 90th percentile, the sample collected in our system contained 0.004 mg/l at lead.
