Water Billing Software Conversion

Overview

At the end of October, the Dedham-Westwood Water District will transition to a new water billing system.
Depending on how you pay your bill, there may be actions you need to take. Please use this information to learn about how our new system will affect you.
We appreciate your patience as we implement these changes, and truly value your business!

Conversion Update as of Friday, November 7:

At the beginning of November, the District successfully converted to a new billing software.

Now that the conversion is complete, if you wish to make an online payment or an automated phone payment, you will need to WAIT until you receive your November bill to obtain your new account number. Payments can ONLY be made with your new account number.

Customers who wish to manage their account(s) online must create a new portal account. Please reference your November bill to obtain your new account number and CID number.

Please be advised that if you do make a payment during the shutdown period, your next bill may not accurately reflect that payment.

Online Portal Account

Customers who wish to access their account information online must create a new account on our online portal. Once you receive your next bill, please go to: www.dwwd.org/portal

Online Payments


Online payments will be made through our new provider, InvoiceCloud. Customers can make a one-time payment, register for a portal account, set up recurring payments, sign up for AutoPay, and more! Service fees apply.

Automated Pay By Phone System


Effective November 1, please call 1-833-990-1623 to make automated phone payments.

PLEASE NOTE: This phone number will not be able to accept payments until after November 1.

Autopay Customers

If you are currently enrolled in autopay, you will not need to re-enroll. Your payments will continue as scheduled after we migrate to our new billing and payment system.

There will be no service fees for those who continue with autopay via electronic funds transfer (bank account).

The new system allows customers to enroll in autopay using a credit card. If you choose to use a credit card, autopay payments will incur a 2.95% service fee (minimum $2.15).

Customers Who Pay Via Bill Payment Service

If you pay your water bill through a bill payment service (typically provided by your bank or credit card), you will need to update your account number reference after you receive your first bill. If you are unsure how to make the changes, please contact your bank, credit card provider, or bill payment service.

After the conversion is complete, if you wish to make an online payment, you will need to wait until you receive your November bill. You will need your new account number to make an online payment.

You can register for a portal account after you receive your November bill. You will need your new account number and CID number to create a portal account. Both the account number and CID will be located on your next water bill.

Customers have two options to pay their bill:

  • Utilize the 24/7 Drive-Through Payment Box at the District’s Headquarters, 50 Elm Street,
