Through our inventory, the District has confirmed that 15 service line connections are partially made of lead. Out of the 15, 5 of those service lines that contain lead are owned by the District, and the remaining 10 are owned by the property owner.

The Dedham-Westwood Water District is developing a replacement plan to eliminate all lead sources from our system. We are actively exploring grant and interest-free loan options to complete this work. Once we have secured funding, the District will work with property owners who have a confirmed lead service to discuss the next steps.
