The Dedham-Westwood Water District will conduct water main flushing in Dedham and Westwood this week.

Flushing operations will occur between 3 and 11 p.m. at the following locations on:

Wednesday and Thursday, October 21-22:

• High Street (from Bridge Street, Dedham to Blueberry Lane, Westwood)
• Dover Road (from High Street to the Dover town line)

Saturday, October 24:

• Fox Hill St (from Gay Street to High Street)
• Dover Road (from High Street to Dover town line)

Sunday, October 25:

• Any remaining flushing areas that were not completed above will be flushed.

Residents located within the above flushing areas AND surrounding streets may experience low water pressure and discolored water.

Please monitor your water aesthetics more closely before washing laundry and running your dishwasher.

If you experience discoloration, please run your water on COLD at the lowest pressure point in your home. Leaving the water running will allow any sediment that may have entered your service line to work its way through the house.
